I have a 9 year old. She has stopped eating, even if I make her favourite food or get food from outside she doesn't eat at all. What should I do?

@Jhuma, I can understand your concern well! Following few ways might help the child eat better:- 1. Give small and frequent meals throughout the day. Do not force feed the child. 2. Hydrate the child well during the day. Try giving liquids like fresh fruit juices, coconut water, buttermilk, lemonade etc. 3. Encourage the child for daily physical activity or his/ her favourite sports. 4. Try giving foods in appealing forms and shapes. 5. Try taking him/ her to grocery stores to develop interest in foods. The child might have a medical problem which has ultimately lowered appetite. I would advice you to consult the doctor for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
