Someone told me I should eat a lot of fish and berries during my pregnancy? Whats the logic behind that?

Fish contain Omega acid. You should add this...but i am not sure you will get this in lockdown period

That’s True! You should include berries as they are rich in antioxidants. Fish are good sources of omega 3 fatty acids which promote brain and eye health and development of the fetus as well as lower risk of preterm babies. Avoid high mercury fish though! Have controlled portions of non vegetarian foods in a day, 2-3 small pieces in a day Antioxidants such as Vitamin C and E, flavonoids etc. are compounds that inhibit the oxidation process that produce free radicals in your body which in turn prevent various infections and conditions like pre-eclampsia and reduced fetal growth during pregnancy. Please consult the doctor if you have any medical problem/complication before adding fish to your diet
