- Step 1 Heat a nonstick pan with 1 tsp oil, add 3 cloves, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp chopped onions, 1 tbsp chopped tomato and saute until soft
- Step 2 Season with 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder and 1/4 tsp salt for taste
- Step 3 Add 1 tbsp chopped palak, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/8 tsp dry mango powder and mix well
- Step 4 Add the palak masala to the cooked dal and mix well
- Step 5 Give it a Nestle twist by adding flax seeds
- Step 6 Serve hot with rice.
